Tree planting schemes on business premises often arise when a business is looking to improve the overall image and/or value of its premises to either customers, suppliers, staff and/or biodiversity.  A well landscaped business premises sends as positive message to existing and prospective clients, suppliers and staff and can often help give a business a competitive edge.  By engaging staff in tree planting, a business can help improve staff relations and the presence of trees in a work setting often creates a softer, more welcoming working environment.  This can lead to greater staff satisfaction and help improve staff performance.

To date, Treegeneration has supported a small number of business orientated schemes.  The planning of these schemes has involved close liaison with the businesses involved.  In most cases, the aim of the schemes has predominantly been to improve the image of business premises.  However, a number of schemes planned for the coming planting season focus on delivering biodiversity and social benefits to business.
