Get Involved

Treegeneration works on a number of different levels, from the grass roots level helping community groups deliver an urban tree-planting scheme to the more strategic level promoting urban forestry and it’s overarching principles to decision-makers.  There are therefore many ways in which you, as an individual or an organisation, could get involved in the Treegeneration initiative.  Below are some of the ways to get involved:

Bring a tree-planting scheme forward.

There are many urban areas with great potential for tree planting, whether they be small pockets of land that could be smartened up with a few trees or larger areas that may be suitable for a community woodland.  If you live in Wales and have a potential tree planting project in mind that needs support, we may be able to help you.

Become a partner

If you or your organisation are based in Wales, you may be interested in become a Treegeneration partner.  Your organisation may share similar objectives to Treegeneration or you might feel that involvement in Treegeneration would benefit your organisation in some other way.  Whatever your reasons may be, we would be interested to hear from you.

Sponsor a tree-planting scheme

Our schemes often attract support from a variety of sources.  We always welcome the support of sponsors for our schemes, which include town centre and community woodland planting schemes.  Some of these schemes generate significant publicity for the project and scheme sponsors.  To discuss potential sponsorship opportunities please contact us.

Tell us what you think

It is important for us to know what impact our schemes have had on local people and communities.  This enables us to improve the way we work.  You may have been involved in one of our schemes or you may live or work close to a Treegeneration planting scheme.  If so, we would like to hear your views on such schemes and what effect they have had on you as a member of the local community.

There are many potential benefits to be gained from involvement in the Treegeneration initiative.  To discuss other ways in which you could get involved in Treegeneration, please contact us.
